Hey There!
I'm the one behind the camera
My name is Elizabeth Galvan Ortiz. I am a free-spirited natural light photographer based out of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands who specializes in capturing family & children as well as maternity & wedding portraiture. Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised on this beautiful Caribbean Emerald of the Sea.

I married my high school sweetheart of 20+years, Otoniel and I are the proud parents of two children, Yaira (16) & Yomar (12). They truly are my biggest blessings, supporters and my most favorite muses of all time!
When my mom passed away in 1997, I remember looking at a handful of photos of her and our family and wishing we had captured so much more. I have very vague memories of my mother but the few photos I had just brought her spirit to life for me. This was, ironically, the moment I fell in love with the art of photography and I vowed to continuously capture life and raw authentic emotions all around me for years to come.

I have always loved telling stories. To be able to document endless family moments while telling a story of love through my photography is my passion. For many years, I longed for my very own DSLR and in 2014 my husband, the always the supportive dreamer like myself, surprised me with my Nikon and I have since been capturing everyday moments that quickly turn into memories of a lifetime!
