Carlos was fairly new to the island and while he met Emily during a youth camp last November, they quickly hit it off afterwards and became friends. Who knew that the moment Carlos needed some clothes hangers, (yes hangers), they would seal their faith!
The scene was calm and very intimate. Guests anxiously waited for the bride while light chatter filled the church with no one more anxious than the groom. Carlos was handsomely clad in a lovely tux while his best man recalled moments in their friendship to calm him. It's unbelievable how just a month ago I was shooting the engagement session for Emily and Carlos and now I had a front row seat to such an amazing chapter in their lives. Emily walked down the aisle in a beautifully tailored dress with a simple veil as light curls hung down her back. She had that bridal glow as she walked down the aisle with both her parents, arm in arm. They had both withnessed her highest of highs and lowest of lows and she only saw it fit that they both experience this moment with her. She confidently held them knowing they were always supportive and proud of her. To say Emily met the man of ther dreams, is an understatement. Carlos is the man, as Emily puts it, that God had in 'reserve' just for her. They both put their faith and as the Bible states in Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time." And HIS timing is more perfect than anything we can imagine for ourselves! May God continue to Bless this UNION!

Ella tenía ese brillo hermoso de novia mientras caminaba por el pasillo con sus dos padres , brazo en brazo. Ambos habían sido testigos de sus momentos mas altos al igual que sus momentos mas bajos y ella sintio mejor compartir esta Victoria con ellos. Emily caminaba confiada que ambos siempre la apoyan y esta orgulloso de ella. Decir que Emily conoció al hombre de sus sueños , se queda corto. Carlos es el hombre, como Emily dice, que Dios tenía en "reserva" sólo para ella. Ambos ponen su fe y confianza en Dios, que aunque quizas no lo tenian en su mente hace solo un año atras, la Biblia dice en Eclesiastés 3:11 " Todo lo hizo hermoso en su tiempo ." Y el momento de Dios es más perfecto que cualquier cosa que podamos imaginar para nosotros mismos! Que Dios siga bendiciendo esta unión!
